Tanzania Kindergarten Connection
In 2008, kindergarteners in the St. Stephen Sunday School were fortunate to participate in the Tanzania Mission trip too. Each student was asked to draw on a quilt sqaure something that represented God's love. Pictures ranged from rainbows, to Noah's Ark to a baseball diamond. No matter what the picture on the square, it was evident that God's love was present with these kids.
Squares were then sewn together into a quilt which was presented to the school in Kimbushi by our St. Stephen travelers on their mission trip in October of 2008. Students in Kimbushi were then able to put their thoughts of God's love into squares of their own which then found their way back to us at St. Stephen.
What a great way to share the love of God!
