Meet Our Church Council

St. Stephen is blessed to be served by such a dedicated group of volunteers on our church council.

Each year at our congregational meeting in January, we honor those who have completed their service on the church council.  It is at this meeting where new members are inducted into the council through an election process. 

A nominating committe, composed of members of the congregation, is brought together each year for the sole purpose of selecting members who fit the needs of our council.  Once potential council members have been selected, the committee reaches out to those members to determine their desire to serve a term on the council.  Members who choose to accept this responsiblity are then put on the ballot and brought to the congregational meeting for election in January.

Each council member is asked to serve a three year term.
