First Communion

St. Stephen offers second graders the opportunity to learn what Communion means to those of who believe in Jesus Christ.  Second graders enrolled in Sunday School will study for this milestone as part of their regular Sunday School classes beginning in the Spring of each year.  

If your child is not enrolled in Sunday School and/or if you are not members of St. Stephen, there is still an opportunity for you and your child to celebrate this milestone in the Christian faith.  Classes and instruction are open to others, as well as older children who may have missed this milestone along the way.
